Tek gazed out the smashed window of their weather-beaten, broken-down van and blinked as the first rays of sun began to filter through the clouds. The sky was alight, orange and pink faded into blue in the distance. Despite there not being any humans and waste on this planet in centuries, the earth was still scarred by its original inhabitants. Many animals had mutated or been wiped out, making desperation for survival increase. Tek shut her eyes and let her thoughts wonder. Anything would be better than where her thoughts where at the moment.
The Irkens still on the planet had banded together on a country they did not know the name of. Names of earth didn't matter to them anymore. Fixed monitors and tracking devices helped them find their way around with ease. Old Voots had been salvaged and repaired; some even improved.
